Reduced operating and maintenance costs
Fuel consumption, Adblue consumption, air filter cost, service costs of traditional diesel fueled vehicles constitute 70% of the total operating cost. Electric vehicles consume 1/6~1/3 less electricity than diesel consumption, depending on construction site conditions. In addition, there will be no AdBlue, air filter costs, and maintenance costs will be much lower. Therefore, the total operating cost will be less than half of diesel. (This is a comparison of diesel and electric trucks of equal size. The ratio will be much lower when comparing the 26m3 excavation trucks used in Turkey with the 49m3 electric truck.)
Increased Power and Performance
The electric motor is superior to the diesel engine in terms of the power and torque it produces. This difference provides a 33% increase in the vehicle's performance.
Increased Brake Safety
The electric truck has an electric retarder brake and an electric eddy current brake in addition to the diesel truck, which increases the braking performance by 20%.
Reduced Carbon Emissions
The electric truck also uses clean energy. It has the ability to renew this clean energy by charging it during dumper-loaded downhill use. Therefore, it has a clean and economical use.
